“the view from the other side of the fence...”
It will be your new way of thinking, your new way of being, even when you’re not around your horse. It’s developed, it’s nurtured, it’s learned, it’s always finding deeper roots and it will transform you.
Think you’ve heard all this before? No, you haven’t, you just don’t have the knowledge to tell the difference – YET!!!
Never again will you envision your horse’s stall the same way, feeding time the same way, the cross ties, the wash stall, the round pen, the walk from his paddock, the trailer………..
We challenge to you to see the horse through our eyes,
see what we see every day.
Many of the problems horse owners face with their horses are merely superficial manifestations of a corrupt relationship between horse and humans. Whether or not you yourself created these problems or you have inherited them, it’s time to move on.
Our system will teach you how to address your problems by addressing the relationship between you and your horse. You will come to realize that trailer loading problems have little to do with the trailer, that bolting has little to do with the horse running away, that not standing still has little to do with standing still.
By teaching you the view from the other side of the fence you will come to understand how your horse has been dominating your relationship without you even knowing it. Bringing these behaviors to an end will be possible for you. You will finally be able to move forward in a balanced and mutually beneficial relationship.
Then and only then can you address performance. And you will learn to address it properly. Understanding how horses learn is crucial to improving your horse’s performance. Arbitrary cues, conflicting timing, poor reinforcement, training secondary cues before primary cues are learned, poor set up, etc can all lead to poor performance, confusion and insecurity for the horse.
If you want your horse to improve, so must your horsemanship. You must step up to the plate to do so. It is you that your horse wants to rely on, to make him calm within. Don’t let him down.
